Chibi Moltres

Commentary:
Out of all the birds, in my opinion, this one is the worst. When I first played through Pokemon FireRed I caught all the birds thinking this would make the elite four easier to complete. I had planned to use Moltres for some of Lorelei's and Bruno's Pokemon as I could use the super effective moves Fire Blast (yes, as a kid it was all about damage) to knock out some of Lorelei's ice types and fly to knock out Bruno's fighting types. It took me many tries to defeat the elite four. And none of the previous ideas mentioned above worked. Moltres never lived more than two turns against either the Lorelei, Dewgong, Cloyster, or Lapras as they all used some water move, each Pokemon had, and its Fire Blast never was able to take any of these Pokemon in one-shot. Bruno's Hitmonchan and Hitmonlee were easily one shotted by Moltres's Fly, but Machamp was bulky enough to take two flys and thus able to kill Moltres with either rockslide or cross chop (I do not remember). So yeah, in my opinion Moltres was quite useless when I used it. All the other members on the team played a large role in beating elite four for the first time, but that is a story for another day.

Go check out http://www.pokemonpapercraft.net/2021/07/moltres.html if you want a challenge and want to build the more detailed model:

Pokedex Entry:
According to the pokedex, with every flap of its wings, Moltres creates a dazzling flare of flames that turns the night sky red. Furthermore, the appearance of Moltres represents the coming of spring. Alrighty these two makes sense a legendary Pokemon that signals the change in season as well as having a mystical characteristic. This next entry states that if it gets injured, it dips its body in molten rock to heal itself. This explains why Moltres is where it is when you capture it in Pokemon FireRed. I'm just going to assume magic on how it can heal Moltres because how does lava have the ability to heal a flying bird? I could understand if this were Regirock or something like that.

Model Details:
Pages: 1
Height: 3.30 in / 8.38 cm
Width: 3.35 in / 8.51 cm
Depth: 4.89 in / 12.42 cm
Notes: This model is not too difficult to build. Build the head and body separately and them to each other when they are both done. Use the flame on its tail to create a tripod with the legs to get the model to stand by itself. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

Chibi Mudkip

Commentary:
This Pokemon is quite cute, and its purple shiny version is amazing. That is all I got. I know that I have used this Pokemon in a Pokemon Emerald run in the past, but I do not remember anything specific about Mudkip.

Pokedex Entry:
According to the Pokedex, Mudkip's headfin is a sensitive radar and can sense things in the water and air. This allows it to know what is going on around it without using its eyes. Alright makes sense, some animals on earth have this ability. Mudkip also possess similar abilities to other aquatic animals as it can propel itself high acceleration using its tail fin and uses the gills on the sides of its face to breath. Apparently, Mudkip is known to be able to crush boulders, but I will let you come up with a picture on how Mudkip is able to accomplish this feat. At least, the Pokedex also includes a cute entry as Mudkip sleeps by burying itself in soil by the water's edge.

Model Details:
Pages: 1
Height: 2 in / 5.08 cm
Width: 1.33 in / 3.38 cm
Depth: 1.73 in / 4.39 cm
Notes: This model is not difficult to build. I would just recommend using a toothpick when building as this model is quite small and to place a weight, I used a dime, in the body to get the model to stand by itself. I personally made the gills and tail 2D to save me time, but it is up to you on whether you want to make it 3D. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tune!

Chibi Noctowl

Commentary:
I know that Ash had a shiny Noctowl which was quite cool, but that is about it. I never bothered using Noctowl in any nuzlocke or any run in general. So yeah, I do not have much to say about this Pokemon. I mean the design looks alright, but nothing to cool that would give me an urge to use it. I mean this Pokemon was suggested so there must be something cool there, but I do not know personally see here.

Pokedex Entry:
Most of Noctowl's entries make sense. Over time, Noctowl has developed the ability to see in murky darkness and minimal light. Combined with its extremely soft feathers that does not produce sound when it flies, Noctowl never fails to catch its prey in the darkness. It has been given the name of "Emperor of Dark Nights." I understand that Noctowl is probably nocturnal and hunts probably around midnight, however, does Noctowl still have 100% catching its prey on nights it is not too dark and murky? I would assume that is has close to 100% catching rate but is kind of funny of thinking that Noctowl failing during not as dark days and completely flourishing in catching prey on darker days. Hey, evolution I guess. Anyways, when Noctowl needs to think it rotates its head 180 degrees. Alright makes sense. Surprisingly though, according to Ultra Sun’s Pokedex entry, when Noctowl is troubled by something, it turns its head upside down and if you do not leave it, it will peck you. What!? I know owls can turn their heads 180 degrees, so the previous entry makes sense, but being able to rotate its head 180 degrees so that its face is upside down when facing you. What is Noctowl's neck made of?

Model Details:
Pages: 1
Height: 2.06 in / 5.23 cm
Width: 2.60 in / 6.60 cm
Depth: 2.70 in / 6.86 cm
Notes: This model is not too difficult to build. When making the headpiece, make the two sides and then close the headpiece by attaching both sides to the middle piece. Furthermore, to get the model to stand use the two legs and the tail to create a tripod. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

Chibi Mega Blastoise

Commentary:
I do not have much to say about Mega Blastoise. Looks cool aethestically, as it looks like a natural evolution for Blastoise, has some great coverage moves with dark pulse and aura sphere, and gains some extra defense and special attack. All around great evolution if I had to rank the Kanto starters mega evolution, I would have to rank it 3rd just shy (like barely) of Mega Venusaur. Sorry if you wondered Mega Charizard X must be my favorite. Come on a black dragon with blue fire. It just looks too cool.

Pokedex Entry:
According to its one Pokedex entry, Mega Blastoise's cannon is a powerful tank gun and through its strong back and leg, can withstand the recoil from firing its cannon. I mean this entry makes sense. But all I can imagine now is Mega Blastoise not having the ability to withstand the recoil and thus falling on its back and not being able to get back up. Something like flipping a turtle or ladybug struggling to get up.

Model Details:
Pages: 2
Height: 3.75 in / 9.53 cm
Width: 2.70 in / 6.86 cm
Depth: 3.67 in / 9.32 cm
Notes: This model is not difficult to build. Once the head, body, and cannon are built, glue them together. Then use the tail to create a tripod with the legs to allow the model to stand. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tune!

x-x-5 Crossbow Master Dart Monkey

Commentary:
The design of the monkey is quite cool as it looks like an assassin with a crossbow, somewhat like Hawkeye but with a crossbow, but I do not know how good this monkey performs. When watching a YouTube video of this monkey in action, it looks like it just shoots very quickly, does a lot of damage and 90% of the time gets a crit. I assume a crit means that it does more damage. Besides that, I do not know if this monkey upgrade is any good.

 Entry:
According to its description. The crossbow master shoots fast and devastates most bloon types for ease. From this I assume this monkey is mainly bloon popping power, but that is it.

Model Details:
Pages: 3 or 6
Height: 2.75 in / 6.99 cm or 5 in / 12.7 cm
Width: 2.49 in / 6.32 cm or 4.53 in / 11.51 cm
Depth: 2.69 in / 6.83 cm or 4.90 in / 12.45 cm
Notes: These model has two sizes, the bigger the model the easier the model is to build.  If you have built other bloon tower defense monkeys...then go build my other models if you haven't, but also, the build follows the basic steps of the other ones. For this model in specific, when building the head build the hood first but do not close it. Then build the face and free hand trim it to fit inside the hood. Then build the body down to the hips attaching the arms when you get to that section of the body. Attach the head to the body and only after that build and attach the crossbow and quiver. Now free hand glue the legs in the general location on where they are supposed to be and then use the tail to help the model stand. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

Chibi Entei

Commentary:
So…  in one of the early Pokemon movies (the one with all the unknowns), wasn't Entei orginally a human that got changed into the legendary Pokemon. I mean if so, doesn't that flat out reject the legend that Ho-oh revived three Pokemon (I like the theory of those Pokemon being Jolteon, Flareon, and Vaporeon). I don't know I usally just type whatever comes to my head regarding this Pokemon. I do remember this being a pain to catch it in Soulsilver when it was a roamming legendary. I remember thinking I could just put them to sleep, and they would not run from the battle, but no they still can run when they are asleep. It must be sleep walking or has some instinct to. Despite playing FireRed, I did not know I could encounter Entei in the game and never bothered trying. Also, I do have that shiny Entei Pokemon released close to a decade ago.

Pokedex Entry:
Alright Entei's Pokedex entries are quite consistent throughout the games. Entei is said to embody the passion of magma and a new one is said to be born every time an eruption happens. Furthermore, it is rumored every time an Entei barks, a volcano erupts somewhere around the globe. So theoretically, you could create an army of Enteis by training an Entei to bark on command and then have a team determine where the new Entei was born and rinse and repeat until you have any army of a legendary Pokemon. I do have to admit these entries do takeout the mystical essence of Entei as I thought that it was a Ho-oH who revived a burning Pokemon in the burning tower thus creating the ONE and only Entei.

Model Details:
Pages: 2
Height: 2.90 in / 7.37 cm
Width: 2.41 in / 6.12 cm
Depth: 3.66 in / 9.30 cm
Download: 3D Model / Templates
Notes: The only difficult part of the model is building the face. First build the head but do not close the head. Then attach the grey mouth to the red eyes and finally glue the yellow part like the picture below, but make sure to glue the yellow part on top of the grey part. Close the HEAD with the piece shown below. Regarding the body, just make sure to put a small weight like a penny or an eraser cap to allow the model to stand up by itself. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tune!
Place the grey piece inbetween the head and the yellow piece

Leave this part open until you finish building the entire head

Chibi Quilava

Commentary:
I do remember running through Soulsilver with a Quilava before. I just remember being completely surprised when it evolved at level 14 right after I defeated Faulkner. I was then pissed off that it took until level 36 to evolve it to a Typholsion because by that time in the game Quilava was falling behind the rest of my team. I feel like starters should evolve at 16 and then again at 32 or 34. It just feels more natural to me. Fun fact, Quilava was the first papercraft I made without lines. Why do I remember this? Well because I remember sitting in front of the computer to find make sure to fold every line (which is not necessary).

                           Typhlosion               Cyndaquil

Pokedex Entry:
According to the Pokedex, Quilava is a highly nimble Pokemon that can dodge attacks while scorching its opponents. Furthermore, Quilava likes intimidating its foes by turning its back and demonstrating how ferociously its fire blazes and the heat of its flame; the stronger the flame the more ready it is to fight. When I first read about this, all I could think of is a group Quilava performing this intimidation factor like the New Zealand Rugby team's Haka prior to a match. If you have not seen this, go on YouTube and search it. The other entry is somewhat weird. According to Pokemon Silver and Pokemon FireRed, Quilava can withstand any kind of fire attack. UhhhhhhhI don't think so. I do not believe a low level Quilava will be surviving an eruption from a full health Primal Groudon in the sun. There are probably more crazy examples than the one I provided, but I cannot think of any off the top of my head.

Model Detail:
Pages: 1
Height: 2.05 in / 5.21 cm
Width: 1.22 in / 3.10 cm
Depth: 2.46 in / 6.25 cm
Notes: This model is simple to build. When making the flames, you can just fold the white sides on top of each other causing only the color to be shown and then trim the excess white parts off. Make sure to put a small weight inside the body so the model can stand by itself. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tune!

Chibi Swampert

Commentary:
I have to admit Hoenn has the best starters. In my opinion they are all good (As in aesthetics and usability in the main game). I remember using Swampert in Emerald and the fan created game Light Platinum, but no stories to tell. I do have to admit though that Swampert seems the worst out of the Hoenn trios as Whishcash and Quagsire, in my opinion, fills the exact same role as Swampert.

Pokedex Entry:
Lucky for me, Swamperts has two pokedex entries in general that makes sense. The first states that Swampert can predict storms by sensing subtle differences in the sounds of waves and tidal waves with its fin. It then piles up boulders to protect itself. How does it gather all these boulders? Well, Swampert is known to have rock-hard arms that can tow large ships, easily drag a boulder weighing about a ton, break a boulder into pieces, and Swampert use its arms bash its foes in battle. Until you can accomplish these feats do not be flexing your arms at me. So altogether we have learned that Swampert has some strong arms on it.

Model Details:
Pages: 2
Height: 2.65 in / 6.73 cm
Width: 2.20 in / 5.59 cm
Depth: 2.76 in / 7.01 cm
Notes: This model has two things I must highlight. When making the orange spikes on its cheeks, you will need to free hand glue them to the cheeks. DO NOT glue them to the other spike. You may need to trim the spikes to your desired length. After building the body and attaching it to the head, the last thing you will build is the tail. When making the tail, you will need to free hand cut the tail so that it can easily attach to the body AND allow the model to stand by itself. You will need to play with the angle of how you glue it on, but it should not take too long to cut and attach Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tune!

Chibi Braviary

Commentary:
This was one of the main reasons why I wanted to play Pokemon White over Pokemon Black. Braivary just looks so cool. A bald eagle that screams USA, I will take that. Unfortunately, I did not know that you could only catch Rufflet on the route prior to the elite four, so I had to wait all game to catch it. Then I did not realize that it evolved quite late at level 54, so I was stuck with Rufflet on my team for quite a long time. You are probably expecting some great story regarding how Braviary was amazing, and it took out many members of the elite four. Yeah no, Braviary was quite average. I do not remember anything specific about it. I just remember using it against the fighting dude (His name is --- I had to google it after typing this) and that was it. Nothing special at all. I do have to admit though its shiny is kind of cracked though. (I like it for you boomers).

I helped Paperpokes make a bigger version of this Pokemon you can go check it out at http://www.pokemonpapercraft.net/2021/07/braviary.html

Pokedex Entry:

Known as the "Hero of the sky," Braviary reminds of a dog of the sky. Braviary is known to fight for its friends without thinking about the dangers that will occur to itself. That was the only entry that made think Braviary was a dog was the sky, but that was like the first thought I had about this Pokemon. Other entries state that the more scars Braviary has the more heroic Braviary is. Furthermore, Braviary is hotheaded and belligerent and thus that is why Corviknight taken its role of transportation in Galar. I do not get this one. It just comes out of nowhere. Nowhere in any of the other entries does it mention anything regarding Braviary's negative traits or hint at its hotheadedness or belligerent so that was kind of odd. Fun fact though, Braviary can carry the weight of a car. Wonder how they figured that one out?

Model Details:
Pages: 1
Height: 2.75 in / 6.99 cm
Width: 3.16 in / 8.03 cm
Depth: 3.03 in / 7.70 cm
Notes: When building the head, build the face then the spikes around its head. Then continue building the rest of the head. Attach the head to the body once both are completed. The model can stand by itself as it balances on its two legs and tail. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!
