Chibi Typhlosion

Commentary:
Back when Pokemon Platinum was the newest game released by Nintendo, I wanted to complete the Pokedex as much as possible. I played through FireRed and Emerald and was able to fill out a good amount of the dex besides the mythical legendary Pokemon, only available through special events. This was before Heartgold and Soulsilver was release and I had no access to gaining the Johto starters and I really wanted a Typhlosion. I know that you can get the starters in Emerald after completing the Pokedex in that game, but let's be honest that is near impossible to do. I even went as far for asking my friend who had an Action Replay to find a cheat to get a Typhlosion. He never found one and I had to wait until Heartgold and Soulsilver was released to use Typhlosion and I think you can figure the starter I picked for my first run. Also, I wanted to shiny hunt all the Johto starter so I actually have a shiny Typhlosion which is pretty cool.

Pokedex Entry:
I think two out of three entries explains a wild Typhlosions behavior. It attacks its opponent or prey by using blasts of flames or rubbing its fur together to create a huge explosion. Typhlosion also creates heat shimmers that can hide itself. The odd entry is that when Typhlosion's "rage peaks," anything that touches will instantly go up in flames. Like what Will Smith has said, "That's Hot! That's Hot!" So, if Thermite, the highest burning material in the world, were to touch Typhlosion during its rage, would it instantly go up in flames. If so Typhlosion would have to be 2,200 Celsius, which is kinda of hot.

Chibi Tornadus

Commentary:
I do not remember much about this Pokemon. I caught this Pokemon in one of the 5th generation games, but that is about it. Funny thing is that when I was making the templates I thought I could just switch the textures for Landorus, Thundurus, and Tornadus, because they all have the SAME or very similar enough structure, and thus saving me a great deal of time designing. That is my one complaint of this legendary trio...they all look the same with just different tails. And then I realized my theory was wrong. All the tails were different so I had to design each of the legendaries individually to accompany this different. It was not the end of the world, but it would have saved me a good amount of time. I do have to admit I like the Therian forms is better than their normal form.

Pokedex Entry:
So this Pokemon entry answers a question about the speed stat on Pokemon but first...the other entry explains the mythical aspect of this Pokemon. According to the Pokedex, Tornadus can expel massive energy from its tail causing severe storms that can blow away house. Okay makes sense. This Tornadus is a legendary Pokemon that possesses extreme power. Okay time for the fun part. So according to the Pokedex this Pokemon floats on a cloud and it can zoom across the sky at over 200 mph. With the speed stat of 111. From this information, we can conclude that each speed stat point is equal to 1.8 mph. So does that mean that each Pokemon with that stat can travel at max speeds of its speed stat times 1.8 mph. If so, imagine a Purugly traveling at 200 mph.

Width: 2.23 in / 5.66 cm
Depth: 1.87 in / 4.75 cm

Notes: Build the head first, then build the body, and then the cloud. When building the face, you will need to free hand glue the moustache to the head. There is a spike in the templates for the cloud but you do not have to build it as the model can stand by itself. The last things is to build the tail. Build each individual yellow swirl and then the entire purple part of the tail. Once those are complete, glue the yellow swirls to the tail and then the tail to the body. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tune!

Chibi Grookey

Commentary:
I think if you have seen my blog I think you can guess what type my starter is going to be....grass type... if you did not get the hint๐Ÿ˜…. Again I never played the latest Pokemon game, so I do not have any personal memories using this Pokemon. My friend actually requested me to make this when I first started out, but I had to deny him as the models did not exist for galar. The models for Galar still do not exist.......but thanks to the help of Brandon from Paperpokes I was able to build this model. I also helped them out in making a bigger and more detailed version of Grookey so go check them out as the templates will be released soon at http://www.pokemonpapercraft.net/2021/03/grookey.html. If you are reading this in like a month it is already out.

Pokedex Entry:
This Pokemon entry makes sense. You would think that Grookey is a monkey and has to do something regarding music. According to the Pokedex, when Grookey uses his special sticks to strike up a beat, it sends out a revitalizing energy out to the surrounding plants. Makes sense, Grookey makes upbeat music to cheer up the plants.

Height: 2.00 in / 5.08 cm
Width: 1.57 in / 3.99 cm
Depth: 1.38 in / 3.51 cm
Download: 3D Model /Template
Notes: This model is pretty easy to build. Just attach the ears, and headpiece before closing the head. To get the model to stand just play with the angle of the tail to stabilize the model. Sorry for the darkness of the model, but yet again lighting and picture taking is not my forte so yeah. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

Chibi Dartrix

Commentary:
This Pokemon gives off the vibes of a nice smug scholar. When looking at this Pokemon, it reminded me of two other characters. For some reason, this Pokemon reminds me of a Pokemon version of the Castle Valet Darach from the Sinnoh battle frontier with its slick hair and put together look. The more strange character this Pokemon reminds me of is Owl (this is his actual name I was surprised when I googled it) from Winnie the Pooh. They look nothing a like but I just thought about him when making this model.

Pokedex Entry:
I mean my assumption about this Pokemon was sort of right. According to the Pokedex, Dartrix is a narcissistic Pokemon (I guess I was somewhat right regarding it looking smug) and a clean freak. The clean freak a surprising fact about this Pokemon. Apparently, it takes extreme care in preening its feathers and its preoccupation with any dirt in its plumage can lead it unable to battle. No wonder stage 1 Pokemon are stereotypically called teenagers as this one acts like a teenage girl always worrried about its appearance.

Height: 2.35 in / 5.97 cm
Width: 1.96 in / 4.98 cm
Depth: 2.17 in / 5.51 cm
Download: 3D Model / Templates
Notes: Build this model from the BOTTOM UP. Do not glue the back leaves on its butt it the white part of the model. Once you have finished building the model, play with the angle of the leaves (hence why we need glue them yet) in order to get the model to stand by itself. Once the model can stand, then glue the leaves to the white. I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

Chibi Rowlet

Commentary:
Even though I never played Sun and Moon, I have decided my starter would have been Rowlet. It is so cute and it evolves into a Robinhood like owl. Incineroar who? That is all I have to say. I do not have any other experiences or funny things to stay about this Pokemon.

Pokedex Entry:
Wait, this Pokemon is a flying plant owl? According to the Pokedex, Rowlet builds up energy via photosynthesis, and at night looks for prey. HUH? I thought photosynthesis was a plant thing. I wonder how Rowlet learned to perform such a feat. This means that this Pokemon is a flying plant or somehow learned this from a plant. I do not know what to make of this, but okay. Its other entries make more sense as when Rowlet is hunting its prey, it launches its sharp feathers at the prey and when it is close to its prey it will viciuously kick it. Cool an entry explaining how it hunts for its food, but I still do not get the plant part.

Model Details:

Height: 1.85 in / 4.7 cm
Width: 1.83 in / 4.64 cm
Depth: 1.86 in / 4.72 cm
Download: 3D Model /Templates
Notes: This model is quite simple and a good model for beginners to build. Build the model from the top down and close the model with the piece with no tabs at the bottom of the model. The tail should allow the model to stand by itself. Besides that I hope you enjoy building and stay tune!

Total Transformation (x-5-x) Alchemist Monkey

Commentary:
When I played BTD 6 I only used the 5-0-0 monkey, so I actually did not know what this monkey was when someone requested it. I had to Google it to figure out what this monkey looked like and I also had to look up on YouTube what this monkey did. In my opinion this monkey looks like the Super monkey's laser beam but just light blue. Furthermore, its ability seems very similar to the dart monkey's ability as all the surrounding monkeys (does not have to be only alchemist monkey like the dart monkey's ability where the surrounding towers had to be dart monkeys) turn into a 0-5-0 alchemist monkey. Sorry I cannot provide any strategical opinion on this monkey as I have never used it, but I assume that this monkey would be pretty good late game.

Entry:
I cannot roast these entries as the game makes these straightforward, but according to the game its ability transforms five nearby monkeys into crazy attack monkeys for 20 seconds.

Model Details:
Pages: 2
Height: 2.80 in / 7.11 cm
Width: 2.65 in / 6.73 cm
Depth: 2.20 in / 5.59 cm
Download: 3D Model / Templates
Notes: This model is VERY COMPLICATED to build I will do my best to explain what I did but I highly recommend that you download Pepakura Viewer to see where all the pieces are located on this model (This program opens the PDO file in the download). Well besides that here comes the somewhat long instruction list.
The first thing is to build the head, but do no close the head. Build the head spikes next. There is one tab on the right spike that connects to the head. Use this spike as a marker to guide you on where to place the other spikes on the head.
The next item you want to build are the glasses. I am sorry I do not have a picture of the part I wanted to talk about so I will do my best to explain it. When building each goggle side, build the goggle normally then place the hexagonal red piece under the goggle so you can see the red for the eyepiece then attach the goggle to the main goggle piece. For the goggle straps, you only have to cut out part of the goggle piece and you will need to trim the ears. I have included the picture of the section that needs to be cut. You can attach the ears or straps in any order, but just make sure the straps are glued on above the ears.
When building the body you will need to free-hand glue the black part of the body to the white part
I cannot say much about the shoulders and arms besides that to follow the PDO to show where each piece goes. Also, take your time build each piece allowing the glue to dry. If you are experience enough you can avoid attaching some tabs are cover them up with different piece and still get a nice looking build
I had Pepakura Viewer up and open when I was
building this section and I recommend that you do to

When getting the model to stand, glue a small circle inside the model so there is a plane to glue the legs on. Glue on the legs and then play with the placement of the tail to get the model to stand up by itself.
Built a small circle inside the model
to glue the legs to the body

Besides that, I hope you enjoy and stay tune! I am grabbing a cookie after these instructions.

Chibi Lanturn

Commentary:
I have never used this Pokemon because I thought Chinchou sprite looked, how do I say this nicely, stupid. Yep, what a great reason for never using a Lanturn in a playthrough. As I have grown older, I have started to gain a desire to use this Pokemon in the next playthrough. The reason for this new desire is I have been watching Pokemon Challenges nuzlocke Kaizo Emerald and he has used Lanturn many time to defeat Watson. The rules he has in place make the game very very very hard, considering how hard the game is already. I find it kinda of funny how despite all these difficulties, Watson still decides to use thunderbolt against Lanturn even though it has Volt Absorb. This reminds of when Chuggaconroy's run through Pokemon Gale of Darkness when the A.I. kept using normal-type moves against Misdreavus. Also, is it me or does Lanturn looks like a combination of Dory and the fish that uses its light as bait to lury in its prey.

Pokedex Entries:
I mean I do not know what to make of Lanturn of this Pokemon. It has a pretty graphic entry like Lanturn blinds its prey with an intense burst of light and when the prey is incapacitated, the Pokemon swallows it in a single gulp. It has a scientific entry saying that the bacteria in its body allows the a strong luminscent effect to occur. It has a cute entry saying that it is nicknamed the "The Deep-Sea Star" due to its ability to illuminate the sea surface from a depth of three miles. Overall, I think they are solid and Lanturn is just like what I think it would be.

Height: 2.17 in / 5.51 cm
Width: 2.50 in / 6.35 cm
Depth: 2.52 in / 6.40 cm

Notes: I built the model from the left to the right and close the model at the piece with no tabs that is located on the underside of the model. The light on the top is a little difficult to build but just let the glue dry after each attachment. I added a small weight, I used an eraser cap, and I played with the angle of the tail to have the model stand up properly. Besides that I hope you enjoy building and stay tune!
