5-x-x Ultra Juggernaut

 

Commentary:
I have personally never used this upgrade but I like the idea of a monkey using a catapult to pop bloons. I know the 4-0 was alright in the early game in BTD5 and it was a cheap option to pop ceramic bloons and shoot down straight away in BTD Battles, but I personally don't know how usable this monkey is nowadays. The only problem with monkey is that I wish that the design of this monkey changed when upgrading from the fourth-tier. It seems that the only change that occurred was the catapult got bigger. Besides that, I have nothing else to say about this monkey.

Entry:
The ultra juggernaut does a lot of damage to ceramics as it breaks them down into 4 black bloons and 4 white bloons. Unlike its fourth-tier upgrade,
if half of the pierce of a projectile is used the projectile will split into 6 normal juggernaut balls and if all of its 200 pierce is used up, the 
projectile will split into 12 balls

1. This upgrade requires the least amount of exp to unlock (22,000)
2. This is one of two tier 5 upgrades where the monkey does not wear no clothes

Notes: Make the catapult is not too difficult. Make all the individual pieces and glue them together. MAKE SURE to place two small weights in the two bases of the catapult to allow the model to stand by itself. The monkey is just like any other monkey on this website but... make sure that each tab is fully glue to its respected piece before gluing the next one. Why? the legs are crossed so the pieces are a little different. I know very descriptive. If you need help view the video above to help you out. Captain Churchill

 

Commentary:
This hero seems quite popular to use in battles 2 as I believe ISAB and SJB use it quite a bit. This may because Churchill can pop leads, cameos, purple and black and white bloons I personally haven't used Churchill as I haven't play BTD6 or BTD Battles 2 recently, but I do like the design of a tank monkey. Reminds me a little bit of Brad Pitt in the movie Fury when he peaks in head over the tank. And before you ask I assume this monkey's name is based off of Winston Churchill
 
Entry:
I didn't know that these Monkeys get personalities. According to the wiki it said that Churchill is a tank operator and outside the tank is tall and lanky wearing a full suit. He is known to always be serious with a no nonsense powerhouse on the battlefield. It is said off the field Churchill enjoys watching
anime with his favorite being Full Metal Alchemist and he reads manga in his spare time. He is also known to have a British accent when he talks, so yeah he is based off of Winston Churchill. I have to admit Ninja Kiwi really went into depth in creating a personality for this monkey.

Notes: This model is not too difficult to build. The only difficult part is to build the antenna at the back of the tank. I recommend that you just color the back of the piece black and then hold like a milimeter of either side inward. 4-x-x Banana Factory

 

Commentary:

I used to use this Banana farm upgrade in BTD5 all the time, but when BTD6 came out Ninjakiwi seemed to nerf this upgrade and more importantly changed the design for this upgrade. I'm fine with Ninja Kiwi nerfing this upgrade because it did seem a bit overpowered, but I have no idea why they changed the design of this upgrade. I actually liked the BTD5 tower upgrade as it looked more like a factory than this work. This isn't that huge of an issue but just my opinion of the change.

Notes: This model is very easy to build, the only difficult part of this model is building the roof. My only recommendation for the roof is to fold every line on it and the tab should line up from there. Besides that this model is quite simple and I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

The Anti-bloon Super Monkey (x-5-x)

 

Commentary:

For the longest time I really liked the x-4 Super Monkey when I played BTD5 . I know it was terrible against grouped bloons, but I would just spam x-4 them everywhere. Unlike in BTD5 I rarely used the anti-bloon in the game... so I have no experience with the tower. All I know that its ability does a lot of damage to MOAB class bloons. I do have to admit I really like the design of this monkey as it sort of reminds me of a combination of Mega man (my favorite smash character... we can talk about this another day) and the suits humans get into in the movies Live Die Repeat or Matrix 3.

Ok so I don't have any clue on what the stats mean for this monkey so, I am just going to say that this monkey is a huge upgrade on its previous version and can pop every type of bloon as long as it has the upgrade ultravision. Furthermore is quite expensive as it costs...

Unless you are going to go late game and want to use its ability or trying to get the vengeful temple I see no purpose of this tower.

Notes: I give this model a solid medium for the difficulty of this model. There is a lot of pieces to make but making the head can be a little bit tricky to build so refer to the video down below, or Pepakura for help. I do recommend folding all the lines (regardless of building the lineless version) when building the mouth of this model. Lastly, when building the arms, start by building the red inside of the cannon and working your way around. Besides that. I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

Pat Futsy

 

Commentary:

Like most of the towers not in Bloons Tower Defense 5 I never used this tower. When I first saw this monkey I was like ah the Dart Monkey decided to go to the gym and exchanged its dart for learning some sort of karate style

Entry:

This monkey costs 610, 720, 780, or 865. The main attack of Pat Futsy is to slam its fist on to bloons causing some splash attach in the process. At max level, Pat Futsy gain two abilities. The first ability is known as Rallying Roar in which all towers can pop 1 extra layer for 8 seconds. Its other ability known as the Big Squeeze which grabs a MOAB, BFB or ZOMG and crushes it in 5 seconds.

Notes: This model is not difficult to build. All parts of the model are individual objects so you can pose this model in any way you want. 5-5-5 Navarch of the Sea Paragon Buccanear

Commentary:

I wanted to make a boat, I like Bloons tower defense; hence, I made this model. I will have to admit I have never used this upgrade before, but the design is prett good

Entry:

Costing between 425,000; 500,000; 540,000 or 600,000 dollars the Navarch of the sea I'm just going to list all the aspects of this monkey.

• It is armed with 18 turrets which shoots 3 explosive rounds and 10 arrow head shaped graped shots (The grape shot upgrade of the buccaneer is my favorite upgrade for the buccaneer)
• On deck there are 6 grappling hooks that take down MOABs class bloons and uses two of his hooks to pull down a ZOMG bloon. These grappling shoot 10 times before entering a 10 second period (I believe it acts something like the pirate ability). 
• Launches 3 fighter jets that shoots 4 seeking missiles every 10 shots
• Its ability shoots a grappling hook that can take down BAD bloons

Fun Facts:

1. This is the first paragon with an active ability

2.The fighter jets are similiar to the Vic Vipper T301

3.This tower is 1 of 3 monkeys to deal percentage damage on a BAD regardless of health

5-5-5 Paragon Ninja (Ascended Shadow)

Commentary:

I have no idea what this monkey does but it looks pretty cool  and I like the Ninja Monkey so here it is.

Entry:

This monkey combines the ability of all fifth-tier monkeys allowing it to throw seven shurikens. Every seven shots, this monkey throws five flash bombs that explode into three smaller blue seeking shurikens that can stun ZOMG and other tier bloons below it. I guess this answers what it does.

Monkeyopolis (0-0-5 Monkey Village)

 

Commentary:

I believe this tower makes money every round, by sacrificing Banana Farms to the upgrade. Furthermore it also providing extra bonuses to the nearby monkeys. I also made this tower because it makes a good mini village with my other models. That is about it.

Archmage (5-0-0 Wizard Monkey)

 

Commentary:

I'm pretty sure that this monkey just makes big tornados to push back bloons. Well that has nothing to do on why I made this model... This upgrade looked like a monkey version of Gandalf and I like Lord of the Rings so I knew I had to make this model when I had time. That's it😅

The Archmage can shoot bolts twice as fast as the  the Archane Spike

Notes: The only difficult part of this model is the beard. I would recommend downloading Pepakura viewer to see how all the pieces connect to each other. The beard is difficult as the pieces are small and asymmetrical so take your time building it. Ice Monkey

Commentary:

This is my least used tower. I would prefer to use a glue gunner over an ice tower, but its around the holiday time so it just seems right to make an ice monkey during this snowy time. The only ice towers I used was artic wind in combination with the ring of fire (in BTD5) and the icicle impale in the later games. Besides that I never touched this tower.

Notes: This model is not too difficult to build. First build the head. Make sure to attach all the icicles and ears to the head before closing it. Next build the body attaching the arms has you build down. For this model, I folded the tabs in for the legs and free hand glued them to the body in a fashion to get the model to stand (putting them in a way to cause the model to lean backward naturally). Then I attached the tail to create a tripod so the model can stand by itself. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

 

Sauda

 

Commentary:

Looks like a very angry monkey with two swords. What can go wrong?

Sauda is a swordmaster who uses her two swords to deal one damage per one attack. Initially, she pops four bloons per second and has automatic camo-detection

Triple Shot Dart Monkey

Commentary:

This is one of my favorite upgrades. It probably is one of my favorites because I used it quite frequently in BTD Battles. It was cheap and did a good amount of damage to bloons. Besides that, I only know that this upgrade is only good in the early, early game, and then it becomes basically useless.

Throws three darts instead of one which split at 30 degrees.

Notes: If you are going to learn to build this monkey it is the easiest one to build. First, build the head of the monkey, but do not close the head. Next, build and attach the eyes, eyebrows, cap, ears and top head piece to the body. The eyebrows can be built in 3D or 2D. 2D is much quicker and the option I picked, but both option are open to you. Next, build the body downward attaching the arms when you get to them. Build the arms from the fingers toward the upper arm then attach them to the body. Continue building downward but do not attach the legs. Build the legs separately and feet separately and you can glue the legs to the feet just to cover up the tabs (You do not need to connect the non-tab side to the tabs just make sure the hole in which you insert the leg into the feet is covered). Same goes with attaching the legs to the body. Just make sure that the legs cover the holes in which the legs are dedicated to go in. Lastly, build the tail and use it to create a tripod with the legs to allow the model to stand by itself. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned😀!

Apex Plasma Master (Dart Monkey Paragon Monkey)

Commentary:

Pretty cool upgrade. I like how the basic dart monkey has one of the strongest upgrades at the moment of writing this. I find it kina of funny it shoots purple spike balls, just does not seem like a natural things to use as a projectile, but hey whatever. The only thing I dislike about this monkey is that you cannot get it in sandbox mode.... so I had to play quite a bit to get the 3D Model, I know a very petty dislike.

Fun fact: 

The only way to get a level 100 Apex Plasma Master, you have to play co-op so multiple tier 5 dart monkeys are sacrificed.

It is also recommended to use the Apex Plasma Master in maps that have a lot of walls because its balls bounce more maximizing its damage

Entry:

According to BTD6, the Apex Plasma Master is a high-tech ballista operator. It sits on the seat of an orange-technically advanced ballista, firing plasma juggernaut balls from the crossbow every time it attacks

Notes: This model is not too difficult to build. I have included a video of me building the model. Unfortunately, I am at a different location, so sorry for any problems with me building off screen. Anyways... first build, the monkey and then the red and blue tubes. Then build the crossbow section (not the legs) and attach the tubes and monkeys together. DO ALL of this before closing the model. Place as many weights into the crossbow until the model can stand on its own. After that, build all the legs. Make sure they look very similar too each other (angle of each piece of the leg) and everything is tightly glued. Once tightly glued, glue each leg one at a time at the corner of the bottom of the crossbow. Make sure that each leg is tightly glued before moving on to the next one. I decided not to record this part of the video because it would just be a lot of waiting for the model to glue so... yeah.

Glaives Dominus Boomerang Monkey

Commentary:

I don't know anything about this monkey. I am assume it is just very powerful, being 5-5-5, and have aspects of other fifth tier boomerang monkeys. That is it.

Entry:

According to the bloons wiki for this monkey, the Glaive Dominus combines the major features of each of the fifth-tier monkey (just like I thought). It throws super powerful ricocheting glaives, like the perma charge, possess a orbital glaive ring, like the glaive lord, and throws heavy exploding glaives knockback glaives at blimps. Yeah it is just an ultimate boomerang monkey that has the abilities of each boomerang path and does a lot a lot of damage.

3-x-x Berserker Brew Monkey

 

Commentary:

I know that is monkey makes other monkeys more powerful for a certain amount of time but that is it. I assume this is a support tower and you just put it in the middle of your more powerful monkey and let him do his things.  

Entry:

This version of the alchemist gives a special brew to nearby monkeys that temporarily provide extra damage, range, attack speed and pierce. The potion wears off after many attacks or the duration of the brew wheres off, whichever comes first. So, my question here is what is in this potion, but I assume it is like some sort of energy drink.

x-x-5 Crossbow Master Dart Monkey

 

Commentary:

The design of the monkey is quite cool as it looks like an assassin with a crossbow, somewhat like Hawkeye but with a crossbow, but I do not know how good this monkey performs. When watching a YouTube video of this monkey in action, it looks like it just shoots very quickly, does a lot of damage and 90% of the time gets a crit. I assume a crit means that it does more damage. Besides that, I do not know if this monkey upgrade is any good.

 Entry:
According to its description. The crossbow master shoots fast and devastates most bloon types for ease. From this I assume this monkey is mainly bloon popping power, but that is it.

For this model in specific, when building the head build the hood first but do not close it. Then build the face and free hand trim it to fit inside the hood. Then build the body down to the hips attaching the arms when you get to that section of the body. Attach the head to the body and only after that build and attach the crossbow and quiver. Now free hand glue the legs in the general location on where they are supposed to be and then use the tail to help the model stand. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

4-x-x Bloonjitsu Ninja Monkey

Commentary:

This is my favorite upgrade and tower in the game. It is so solid and decently cheap. You can get this tower with some camo lead popping power and bloom popping power and you are set for like round 30 to like 40 or 50ish (I only played on some easy, intermediate and a couple of advanced maps but nothing to difficult) and focus on farming😜. Even though the 0-4 Ninja monkey is arguably better in battles, this upgraded monkey is still quite usable in game. Overall, I like this monkey and is quite usable and a little bit too OP at times.

Description:

Throws 5 Shuriken's at once. How does it do that? It only has two hands. Even if it stacks the ninja stars on top of each why can't it stack more. Maybe it isn't skilled enough. I do not know I am just rambling now.

Notes: For this model I have included two sizes. The bigger model is easier to build than the smaller one. Also, I originally I forgot to make the cape so it is a separate file from the main one. This model is somewhat difficult to build the hardest part is building the head.

First build the bottom part of the head.

Then free hand glue the eyes and red part of the model to the bottom part of the head

Then free hand glue unconnected sides to the side of the head and attach the hat last. Besides that build the body is the same as building any other of my bloons tower defense monkey. If you have not made any other ones, go check them out, but here is the basic idea. Build the body from the top down, and attach the arms as you build down. Then attach the accessories like the waistband, shoulder plates and the ninja star to the body. Then, free hand glue the legs to the body in which the legs just cover the square in which it is suppose to be. The last thing to build is the cape. You can either make it 2D or 3D it is up to you. For 2D, just make the front and back of the cape, glue them together and then trim any of the extra white parts. Anyways, play with the location of the cape in order to allow the model to stand by itself. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

Basic Glue Gunner

 

Commentary:

This monkey slows down balloons, that is all it does. Later upgrades make this tower pretty useful as it can actually do damage and slow M.O.A.B class balloons, but until then this monkey is pretty useless. Personally, this tower is not my cup and tea and you will only catch me using the 0-2-1 Glue Gunner in the early game. Besides that I stay far away from this tower.

Entry:

It shoots slobs of gluing slowing down the balloons to 50%. So it basically slows down balloons and that is about it.

Notes: For this model I have included different sizes. The bigger size is the easier the model is to build of the two. If you have built any of my Bloons Tower Defense models before, it is very similar to how to build those. If you have not, here the basic instructions. First build the head. For this model in specific you will need to trim the ears so they are not as large, and I have provided the option to make the eyebrows 2D or 3D. Use the PDO to help build the arms and attach it to the body when you get there. Finish building the body, but DO NOT glue the legs yet. Next build the hose and glue bucket and attach it to the body. Sorry but there was no connect piece between the hose and the bucket so...yeah. Next build the legs and tail. When building the legs, you can free hand glue the feet to the leg. As long as the the leg is in the general region of the feet it is fine. Lastly, to get the model to stand free hand glue the tail and legs (to the general area where they are suppose to be glued to but do not have to be glue directly to the tabs assigned to) to a location in which the model can stand by itself. An viola the model is done. Besides that, I hope you enjoy buiding and stay tuned!

The Tack Zone (x-x-5 Tack Shooter)

 

Commentary: 

At first I had no idea on what I was going to say. I know this tower shoots a lot of projectiles pretty quickly and that was about it. I assume it is really good for bloon popping power, but would be basically useless in the late game (If I am wrong please let me know). I googled the name for this tower and I almost cracked up laughing. The Tack Zone. I thought that the tower would have more of an intimidating or creating name. The tack zone just sounds corny. You are probably thinking I should have some alternative names to suggest, but I spent a day thinking about it and I could not think of any. This may due to not playing bloons tower defense much and having an idea of what to put, so if you have any suggestions put them in the comments.

Entry:

According to its description, the tack zone (heheh "tack zone" it still gets me) shoots 32 tacks that can pop lead much faster and over a much longer range. I mean that is pretty cool, tacks can pop lead bloons, but I assume by the time you buy the upgrade you have many other ways of popping lead bloons.

Notes: This model is relative easy just tedious with all the attachments. In general, build the top part and then glue the shaft of the model to the underside of the top part. You will need to glue the shaft part a little short so that is fits inside of the top part. Now attach all the mini attachments to the shaft. I did not pay attention to which one specifically goes where but rather just make sure the pattern is the same.  Afterward attach the bottom part and that is it. Total Transformation (x-5-x) Alchemist Monkey

Commentary:

When I played BTD 6 I only used the 5-0-0 monkey, so I actually did not know what this monkey was when someone requested it. I had to Google it to figure out what this monkey looked like and I also had to look up on YouTube what this monkey did. In my opinion this monkey looks like the Super monkey's laser beam but just light blue. Furthermore, its ability seems very similar to the dart monkey's ability as all the surrounding monkeys (does not have to be only alchemist monkey like the dart monkey's ability where the surrounding towers had to be dart monkeys) turn into a 0-5-0 alchemist monkey. Sorry I cannot provide any strategical opinion on this monkey as I have never used it, but I assume that this monkey would be pretty good late game.

Entry:

I cannot roast these entries as the game makes these straightforward, but according to the game its ability transforms five nearby monkeys into crazy attack monkeys for 20 seconds.

Notes: This model is VERY COMPLICATED to build I will do my best to explain what I did but I highly recommend that you download Pepakura Viewer to see where all the pieces are located on this model (This program opens the PDO file in the download). Well besides that here comes the somewhat long instruction list.

The first thing is to build the head, but do no close the head. Build the head spikes next. There is one tab on the right spike that connects to the head. Use this spike as a marker to guide you on where to place the other spikes on the head. 

The next item you want to build are the glasses. I am sorry I do not have a picture of the part I wanted to talk about so I will do my best to explain it. When building each goggle side, build the goggle normally then place the hexagonal red piece under the goggle so you can see the red for the eyepiece then attach the goggle to the main goggle piece. For the goggle straps, you only have to cut out part of the goggle piece and you will need to trim the ears. I have included the picture of the section that needs to be cut. You can attach the ears or straps in any order, but just make sure the straps are glued on above the ears.

When building the body you will need to free-hand glue the black part of the body to the white part

I cannot say much about the shoulders and arms besides that to follow the PDO to show where each piece goes. Also, take your time build each piece allowing the glue to dry. If you are experience enough you can avoid attaching some tabs are cover them up with different piece and still get a nice looking build

When getting the model to stand, glue a small circle inside the model so there is a plane to glue the legs on. Glue on the legs and then play with the placement of the tail to get the model to stand up by itself.
