Chibi Dragapult

 

Commentary:

I kid you not, I opened two Rebel Clash packs for fun and I somehow packed two Dragapult Vmax. That is about it about this Pokemon. It is one of the only Pokemon I know from Galar. Have to admit pretty cool glass Cannon.

This was a Pokemon that was requested by Commission. If you would like a Pokemon by a specific time rather than gambling on when I would release the model you can view the commissions tab on my website to get my contact information.

Fun Fact:

1. Dragapult is based off ancient beings such as the diploccaulus and the modern stealth bomber

2. Dragapult has the lowest Special Defense of all pseudo-legendary.

3. It has the highest speed stat of all pseudo-legendary

Pokedex Entry:

Dragapult entries just provides more information regarding the dreepy. According to the Pokedex, Dragapult keeps dreepy in the holes as horns when in battle Dragapult launches the dreepy at Mach speed. For those unaware that mach speed is 767 mph or 1234 kph in others words really really fast as how does Dragapult generate that much speed?

Notes: Down below I have included the video of me building the model. The only difficult part is getting the model to stand. You will need to put something small, but very heavy in the tail to get the mdoel to stand by itself. Otherwise you will need to lean this Pokemon up against something to get it to stand. Chibi Galarian Darmuaka

Commentary:

This Pokemon looks like if Darmuaka would naturally evolve due to its surround. I mean I know that is the purpose of Galarian Pokemon, but I like the design of this Pokemon. Also, the design made it easy for me to make so that too.

Pokedex Entry: 

According to the Pokedex, Galarian Darmuaka lived in snowy areas for so long that its fire sac cooled off and now it has an organ that generates cold instead. So evolution turned Darmuaka from an oven to a refrigerator over time. Kinda of funny, but also the natural evolution makes sense. In order to live in frigid temperatures, Darmuaka had to adapt and have different organs. My only question is how long did this evolution to the different climate take. Was it like in real life where it takes millions of years for this change to occur? Or is Pokemon special and it took only a few years because a special gene was activated? The other Pokedex entry for Galarian Darmuaka says that they freeze their breath into snowballs and use the them in snowballs fights. I kinda of funny this was included and now I can see just groups of Galarian Darmuaka having a huge snowball fight with each other.

Chibi Galarian Darmanitan

 

Commentary:

Its the abominable snowman. That is what I immediately thought of when I first saw this Pokemon. This Darmanitan then reminds me of the abominable snowman from Monster Inc. So yeah... snow monster! Well besides that resemblance I have no other things to say about this Pokemon. I know this Pokemon has a Vmax in the TCG, but last time I checked the card is not meta and is an alright Vmax to use for fun.

Pokedex Entry:

So the Pokedex entry talks about its snowball on its head. Apparently Darmanitan can melt or freeze the snowball on its head based on whatever purpose it needs it for. When a blizzard runs through a town, it goes down to the town and stashes food in its snowball. So... does this Pokemon take food from humans or does it eat snow and puts in its snowball🤷‍♂️. I have no clue. The wording is weird or I am just too tired and cannot read straight😴😵. Also before going for a headbutt, Darmanitan will freeze its head. This mean that Darmanitan can melt or freeze its snowball at will. I mean I guess it will still have a few qualities of its fire-type brother because how else would it melt its snowball head again so it would not have to constantly carry ice on its head.

Notes: If you built the other Darmanitan, this model is exactly the same but just add a cylinder on the top of its head. If you did not build the other one here are the basics instructions. Build the main body and then attach the head piece for closing the model with the piece on the underside of the body. Finally attach the legs to allow the model to stand at whatever angle you want. If you are opening the PDO, ignore the pieces above the cover page as those were unnecessary pieces. I did not know they would exist and are unnecessary to use to build the model. Chibi Zen Galarian Darmanitan

 

Commentary:

Well, before I start telling a story about this Pokemon, I would like you to know this the first Pokemon in which I had to build from scratch. I am working on it so I make Pokemon without a chibi model at the moment so that is in store at the moment. Okay on to the story. When googling for a picture for Galarian Darmanitan, I saw this model and was like this has to be fan art. In my opinion, this did not look like a Pokemon. To me it looked like some sort of special version of King Boo or a make shift snowman made by kids (Where the carrot for the nose caught fire, the kids could not reach the top of snowman so they made the face on the bottom snow part and oven-mitts were used for arms). After doing more research I learned this actually was the Zen version I was like....okay.... and built it. I still cannot believe this is a Pokemon, but hey I am not Nintendo.

Pokedex Entry:

Holy crap, this Pokemon is me whenever I lose my brain completing an assignment. According to the Pokedex, when this Pokemon becomes angry, it spews fire and rampages discriminately. One, this is completely the opposites of its regular form because it is calm in its Zen form. And two this Pokemon is like me because when I start taking 3-4 hours on one or two problems, I start yelling at the top of my lungs just wanting to be done with my work. I do not care what my roommates think about my outrage and I usually get made fun of afterward or told to calm down which makes the situation even more worse.

Notes: This model is very easy to build and if you are new to papercrafting this is an excellent model to start off with. Build each individual section separately then attach each section. Make sure to put a small weight like a coin or eraser in the base sphere to allow the model to stand up by itself. I hope you enjoy building and stay tune!

Chibi Grookey

Commentary:

I think if you have seen my blog I think you can guess what type my starter is going to be....grass type... if you did not get the hint😅. Again I never played the latest Pokemon game, so I do not have any personal memories using this Pokemon. My friend actually requested me to make this when I first started out, but I had to deny him as the models did not exist for galar. The models for Galar still do not exist.......but thanks to the help of Brandon from Paperpokes I was able to build this model. I also helped them out in making a bigger and more detailed version of Grookey so go check them out as the templates will be released soon at http://www.pokemonpapercraft.net/2021/03/grookey.html. If you are reading this in like a month it is already out.

Pokedex Entry:

This Pokemon entry makes sense. You would think that Grookey is a monkey and has to do something regarding music. According to the Pokedex, when Grookey uses his special sticks to strike up a beat, it sends out a revitalizing energy out to the surrounding plants. Makes sense, Grookey makes upbeat music to cheer up the plants.

Notes: This model is pretty easy to build. Just attach the ears, and headpiece before closing the head. To get the model to stand just play with the angle of the tail to stabilize the model. Sorry for the darkness of the model, but yet again lighting and picture taking is not my forte so yeah. Besides that, I hope you enjoy building and stay tuned!

Chibi Regieleki

 

Commentary:

I like it. This Pokémon looks aesthetically pleasing I do not why. It may be the yellow symmetrical look mirror electric currents, but ehh. I really like the Pokémon company creating more Pokemon to go with past legendary Pokemon. I prefer this compared to new forms to old legendary Pokemon. cough** cough** Zapdos cough*** Moltres cough*** Articuno cough*** cough*** sorry I had to cough while you were coincidentally reading this. New legendary Pokemon to go with past legendaries just seems right as it creates new Pokemon while pulling on the string of nostalgic fans. Besides that, I actually have no clue if this Pokemon is usable. I believe this Pokemon acts as a glass cannon with its astounding speed stat and the option to be physically or specially attacking. The only thing I do not really like about this Pokemon is that it is two foot eleven inches. I feel like the Regis should be intimating figures, but this Regieleki cannot be intimidating when being so short.

Pokedex Entry:

Well, this section will be easy to type as there are only two Pokedex entries. According to the Pokedex, Regieleki has the power to generate all of Galar of electricity. Okay this makes sense. A powerful legendary Pokemon that provide enough energy for an entire region (that is not suppose to be sarcastic). Apparently, if you remove Regieleki's rings it will unleash its latent power. Wait, so can Regieleki generate all of Galar's energy with or without the ring's on because if Regieleki can power all of Galar's power with the rings on could Regieleki power the whole Pokemon universe or will it produce too much power to cause a blackout in all of Galar? Just food for thought.

Chibi Corviknight

Commentary:

I never played Sword and Shield so I never used this Pokemon. All I know is that this is a bulky Pokemon and kind of like another version of Skarmory. To be honest, when I first saw this Pokemon, I thought this Pokemon evolved from Skarmory due to it just looking like a bigger and darker shade of Skarmory. Besides that, I have no clue about any details regarding Corvinight.

Pokedex Entry:

So this Pokemon reign over the Galar region and the black luster of its body causes terror into the heart of the foes and acts as the taxi service of the Galar region. I find it kinda of funny that one of the most intimidating Pokemon in the Galar region provides the taxi service region. I mean at least you know the service will be safe as no one will think about attacking it.

Notes:  The model is not too difficult to build. The problem I had was getting the model to stand by itself. What I did was use the tail and two legs to create a tripod allowing the model to stand by itself. I also placed half an eraser cap in the model to counteract the weight of the head.
